Give back by being a GOALS/Partners4Success mentor!

WIBA has partnered with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and their Partners4Success program. The goal of this program is to provide training for adults who have had employment barriers and receive food assistance as a result. An intensive six-week training program provides a review of reading, writing and math as well as soft skills development. The students are then matched with entry-level employment opportunities. The program provides ongoing assistance such as transportation, clothing and child care assistance to ensure job retention.

Here are ways you can help:

• Be a mock job interviewer
• Give facility tours to the students
• Make a presentation on your company’s hiring process
